No. 14 Women's Golf Rises to Sixth after Second Round

DESTIN, Fla. – The 14th-ranked Washington and Lee University women's golf team improved to sixth place after the second round of the 2024 Golfweek October Classic, with a two-round total of +31 (607) on the par-72, 5,611-yard course.

  1. No. 2 Emory University: E (576)
  2. No. 7 Washington U-St. Louis: +8 (584)
  3. No. 1 Carnegie Mellon: +9 (585)

  • Par 3s: W&L averaged 3.18 (+7)
  • Par 4s: W&L averaged 4.35 (+35)
  • Par 5s: W&L averaged 5.10 (+4)
  • Birdies: W&L recorded 13 birdies across the two rounds.
  • Zimo Li (Emory University) leads the field at -5 with rounds of 70 and 69 (139).

W&L will open up the final round of play tomorrow and tee off at 7:40 a.m.
