RICHMOND, Va. -- The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) released its most recent Top 25 dual meet rankings of the 2022-23 season on Friday and the Washington and Lee men's swimming team entered the poll at 24th with 46 points.

Emory topped the poll with 498 points and 19 first-place votes, followed by Kenyon with 481 points and the final first-place nod. Chicago rounded out the Top 3 with 458 points. For the full rankings and release, click

The Generals are 5-1 in dual meets this season and have also competed in a pair of invitationals. They won the annual ODAC Relays at home on October 8 before going on to place second out of eight teams at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational from November 18-20. W&L's lone dual meet loss of the season came on November 12 against then 10th-ranked, now No. 9 Carnegie Mellon. In their five dual wins, the Generals are averaging 178.4 points with an average margin of victory of 84.8 points.

W&L has been led this season by the strong swimming of first-year
Dalton Jobe (Henrico, Va. / Collegiate School), who has been named the ODAC Men's Swimmer of the Week a conference-high four times. Jobe is the current ODAC leader in the 200 free (1:41.47), 500 free (4:37.05) and 400 IM (4:02.19), while six different Generals lead the conference in at least one individual event each. Additionally, W&L also leads the conference in all five relay events.

The Generals are in action tonight at VMI at 6:30 pm in their final tune-up before the ODAC Championships from February 8-11 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
