LEXINGTON, Va. - The Washington and Lee University field hockey game against Ferrum College was suspended on Monday night with 6:54 remaining in the third quarter. The score was 8-1 in favor of the Generals.

An injury put the contest on hold and the staff determined to resume the contest at a later date. Information about the contest will be made available on www.generalssports.com and www.ferrumpanthers.com when a date and time have been confirmed. 

The Generals will return to action against Eastern Mennonite University on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. on the W&L Turf Field.
