LEXINGTON, Va. – Washington and Lee had 15 different players score a goal in producing a 28-0 men's lacrosse victory over Randolph College on Thursday evening at Wilson Field.

The shutout was W&L's first since a 28-0 blanking of Ferrum during the 2019 campaign.  It also improved the Generals to 11-0 all-time against the WildCats (1-9, 0-6).

The Blue & White (7-4, 6-1) tallied 11 scores in the first quarter alone, led by senior attackman Stuart Greenspon (Aldie, Va. / Episcopal), who notched one goal and a game-high five assists in the opening 15 minutes of play.  Senior attackman Taylor Witherell (Wilmington, Del. / Salesianum) and sophomore attackman Will Schnorr (Paoli, Pa. / Conestoga) both tallied three goals during the frame.

W&L emptied the bench after the first quarter which led to some career days for several underclassmen, including first-year attackman Justin Le (San Jose, Calif. / Bellarmine Prep), who posted four goals and one assist.  First-year attackman Alex Brown (Norwalk, Conn. / Taft School) totaled three goals and two helpers, while first-year attackman Brian Bonnist (Suffern, N.Y. / Suffern) registered two goals and one assist.

For the game, W&L held a 53-4 advantage in shots and a 53-9 edge in ground balls.  The Generals also won 27-of-31 faceoffs.
