LEXINGTON, Va. – Washington and Lee University has announced its 2020-21 wrestling schedule, which is slated to begin on Saturday, February 6 with a road tilt against Ferrum College at 4:00 pm.
 
The Generals will contest a five-match regular-season schedule, which features two home contests.  The Generals' first match in the newly opened Duchossois Athletic and Recreation Center will be on Friday, February 12 when W&L hosts Shenandoah at 6:30 pm.  The Hornets will be competing in wrestling for the first time this winter.
 
W&L also has a home date with Southern Virginia on Wednesday, February 17 at 7:00 pm.  Other road contests include a match-up with cross-town rival VMI on Friday, March 26 at 6:00 pm and a second match with Southern Virginia, this time in Buena Vista on Friday, April 9 at 7:00 pm.

The NCAA East Regional is currently slated for February 26-27, while the NCAA Division III National Championship is slated to occur on March 12-13 in LaCrosse, Wisc.
 
Washington and Lee will not be allowing spectators of any kind for wrestling during the 2020-21 season.  Only match participants, officials and game operations staff will be permitted inside the Duchossois Athletic and Recreation Center.
