CLEVELAND, Ohio – Washington and Lee junior Zach Bylykbashi (Southington, Conn. / Southington) was in action on Friday in the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championship held at the Cleveland Public Auditorium.
Bylykbashi began the tournament with a match against top-seeded Brett Kaliner of Stevens and fell by a score of 12-3. He then went to the consolation bracket where he was knocked off by eighth-seeded Chase Wilson of Manchester by a score of 18-4.
Bylykbashi finishes his junior campaign with a 28-10 overall record. He is a two-time national qualifier and he will enter his senior season ranked second all-time at W&L with 88 career victories (88-26).
