LEXINGTON, Va. – The Washington and Lee men's swimming team logged a 161-101 win over Mary Washington in a nonconference dual meet on Friday night.
Highlights from the meet:
-The Generals finished first in 10 out of 14 races on the night with seven different swimmers contributing to those victories.
-Sophomore Danny Lynch (Richmond, Va. / Trinity Episcopal School) led the way for the Generals, totaling three individual wins and was part of a relay victory. His individual wins came in the 100 backstroke (53.22), 200 backstroke (1:59.70) and the 200 individual medley (2:00.27). He was part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:35.70) as well.
-Sophomore Patrick Sullivan (Pawleys Island, S.C. / Waccamaw) also won three individual races plus a relay. His individual wins came in the 50 freestyle (21.80), 100 freestyle (47.97) and the 200 freestyle (1:44.07), while he swam anchor for the winning 200 freestyle relay (1:44.07)

-Lynch, Steve Warren, Jared Nickodem, Conner Van Vooren – 200 medley relay (1:35.70)
-Van Vooren, Bancks Holmes, Fitz Rawls, Sullivan – 200 freestyle relay (1:44.07)
-Danny Lynch - 100 backstroke (53.22), 200 backstroke (1:59.70), 200 IM (2:00.27)
-Patrick Sullivan - 50 freestyle (21.80), 100 freestyle (47.97), 200 freestyle (1:44.07)
-Jared Nickodem – 1st 200 butterfly (1:59.01)
-Conner Van Vooren – 500 freestyle (5:00.87)
