ASHLAND, Va. – The Washington and Lee women's swimming team defeated Randolph-Macon on Saturday at the Estes Aquatic Center, but team scores were not available.
Highlights From the Meet
- The Generals recorded first-place finishes in 12 out of the 14 events, while also placing second in nine of the events.
- Junior Elle Chancey (Tampa, Fla. / Berkeley Preparatory School) and sophomore Ali MacQueen (Memphis, Tenn. / St. Mary's Episcopal School) each recorded a first-place finish. They were also part of the winning 200-yard medley relay (1:51.21) and 200-yard free relay (1:42.44).
- Senior Cassidy Fuller (Moraga, Calif. / Campolindo) was also a member of the winning 200-yard free relay, while also placing first in the 50-yard free (26.00). Sophomore Emily Hageboeck (Charleston, W. Va. / George Washington) swam on the 200-yard medley relay, while placing first in the 200-yard breast (2:25.58).
