The Eagles opened a door for the Generals early in the fourth quarter when they fumbled a punt at their own 31-yardline.  Sophomore defensive back Patrick Ryan (Wilton, Conn. / Wilton) both forced and recovered the fumble, setting up W&L with a short field.  Senior running back Evan Hinkle (Glen Allen, Va. / Deep Run) took advantage four plays later with a 10-yard touchdown run that tied the score at 20-20 with 11:20 remaining in the contest.

BC bounced back from the error, producing a 9-play, 60-yard drive that resulted in a third field goal from Rossi, this time from 31 yards out for a 23-20 lead at the 7:10 mark.  The Eagles' defense then forced W&L into a 3-and-out and drove to the W&L 28-yardline on the next possession where they faced a 4th-and-5 with just under one minute remaining.  Scroggins ran play action and found sophomore wide receiver Rayvon Johnson with a 28-yard touchdown pass to put the game away.
