LEXINGTON, Va. – The Washington and Lee men's soccer team had six different players score in a 6-0 triumph over Emory & Henry on Wednesday afternoon at Watt Field.

The Generals' (5-2-1, 3-0) six tallies were the most goals scored in a game since the 2006 season.

W&L took a 2-0 lead into halftime. Sophomore forward Reeves Duggan (Birmingham, Ala. / Indian Springs School) netted the opening goal and the game-winner when he chipped in a loose ball from junior defender Patrick Barry (West Roxbury, Mass. / Roxbury Latin School) in the 28th minute. Junior midfielder David Cohen (Chesterfield, N.J. / Northern Burlington) scored the Blue and White's second goal at the 33:40 mark off of an assist from Duggan.

In the 66th minute, senior midfielder Ben Bayles (Fleming Island, Fla. / Fleming Island) found the back of the net off of a pass from first-year midfielder Will Hamryka (Dawsonville, Ga. / Greater Atlanta Christian). Hamryka struck again just 1:27 later when he tallied W&L's fourth goal off of an assist from first-year midfielder James Brady (Glen Head, N.Y. / Chaminade).

Junior midfielder Mason Billings (Greensboro, N.C. / Page) assisted on the Generals' last two goals of the game. He found Barry at the 80:02 mark, and then located junior forward Miles Bent (Lexington, Va. / Rockbridge County) on a corner kick just 2:42 later to reach the final margin.

Washington and Lee outshot Emory & Henry (2-4-2, 0-2-1), 31-8, and held a 12-4 advantage in corner kicks.

Junior goalkeeper Connor Hayward (Dallas, Texas / Highland Park) recorded his second win of the season and stopped five shots in 90 minutes of action.
