Box Score LYNCHBURG, Va. – First-year midfielder Caroline Hahn (Richmond, Va. / Douglas Freeman) scored both goals in the Washington and Lee women's soccer team 2-0 win over Randolph on Saturday afternoon at WildCat Stadium.
The Generals (7-0-1, 5-0) outshot the WildCats (4-5, 1-3) 23-0 in the first-half, but went into halftime notched at 0-0.
Hahn tallied the first goal of the game at the 71:05 mark off of a header from senior midfielder Katie Rossi (Wyoming, Del. / Caesar Rodney) and sophomore forward Tricia Jessee (Roanoke, Va. / Patrick Henry). Hahn scored again two minutes and 49 seconds later off of an assist from senior midfielder Holley Beasley (Virginia Beach, Va. / Norfolk Academy) to secure the win for the Blue and White. Hahn now has six goals so far this season.
Senior goalkeeper Addie Healy (Waterford, Va. / Woodgrove) saw all 90 minutes of action in goal and had one save for the Generals. First-year keeper Quinn-Lynn Bates took the loss for the WildCats, but totaled 20 saves during the match.
W&L held a 39-1 edge in shots and a 15-0 advantage in corner kicks over Randolph.
Washington and Lee returns to action on October 1 when it travels to Shenandoah for a 7:00 pm contest.
