Box Score

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Catholic University scored with 25 seconds remaining to claim a 40-36 victory over Washington and Lee in ODAC football action on Saturday afternoon at Cardinal Stadium.

The lead changed hands seven times in the second half, with the Generals (1-8, 1-5) claiming a 36-33 edge with 1:31 left on a 1-yard touchdown run by sophomore running back Evan Hinkle (Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run) and a two-point conversion pass from sophomore quarterback Charlie Nelson (Redding, Comm./St. Luke's) to sophomore wide receiver Witt Hawkins (Memphis, Tenn./Memphis University School).
