GREENSBORO, N.C. — Junior outside hitter Anna Lausberg (Ocoee, Fla./Bishop Moore Catholic) totaled a match-high 11 kills to lead the Washington and Lee volleyball team to a 3-0 sweep over Guilford on Saturday at the Ragan-Brown Field House.

The Generals (23-4, 9-2 ODAC) won the first set, 25-18, took the second, 25-19, and closed out the match in the third, 25-15.

Along with 11 kills, Lausberg also had six digs. Sophomore middle blocker Mackenzie Shand (Saline, Mich./Saline) recorded nine kills on just 14 attempts with one error for a .571 hitting percentage. Junior outside hitter Kasey Cannon (North Wales, Pa./Mt. St. Joseph Academy) totaled seven kills and seven digs.

Junior setter Alex Kinzer (Greenville, S.C./Eastside) tallied 27 assists and seven digs, while junior middle blocker Jenna Gustafson (San Diego, Calif./Francis Parker School) notched a team-high nine digs.

Senior outside hitter Brittany DeCesare led the Quakers (6-17, 2-8 ODAC) with 10 kills. Guilford had three players record at least 10 digs. First-year setter Casey Davis had 13, Junior defensive specialist Brooke Herr totaled 12 and junior setter Maile Munro registered 11.

This marked the final ODAC match of the regular season for the Generals. W&L will compete at the Emory Invitational next Friday and Saturday. The Blue and White will take on UMass-Boston on Friday at 2:00 pm, and then face Berry on Saturday at 10:30 am and Emory at 1:00 pm.
