Box Score LEXINGTON, Va – The Washington and Lee men's soccer team
battled Shenandoah College to a 0-0 double-overtime tie on Saturday
afternoon at Watt Field.
Despite hard efforts by both teams, neither squad could find the
back of the net in 110 minutes of play. W&L (1-1-2) led
Shenandoah (2-4-1) in both shots, 16-5, and corner kicks, 4-1.
Junior keeper Alex
Lambert (Massapequa Park, N.Y./Chaminade) played all 110:00 in
net, recording two saves. Shenandoah netminder first-year Adrian
Acosta (Woodbridge, Va./Osbourn Park) also played the duration,
recording two saves.
The Generals return to action on Wednesday as they travel to
Salem to face Roanoke College for a 7:00 pm contest.
