Box Score ATLANTA, Ga. – The Washington and Lee volleyball upped its current win streak to 10 matches with a 3-1 victory over Maryville (Tenn.) on Friday afternoon at the Emory National Invitational.
W&L (24-4) defeated the Scots (14-15) 28-26, 19-25, 25-22, 25-18. It is the second 10-match winning streak of the season for the Generals.
First-year outside hitter
M.A. Boles (Houston, Texas/St. John's) was one of three Generals to post at least 10 kills, recording 15. Senior middle blocker
Lindsey Dee (Tallahassee, Fla./Maclay School) had 12 and junior outside hitter
Megan Daily (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook) added 10.
Boles also had 11 digs and two service aces.
Sophomore libero
Cameron Hill (Tampa, Fla./H.B. Plant) posted a team-high 13 digs and first-year setter
Nikki DelZenero (Willowbrook, Ill./Hinsdale Central) had 21 assists, seven digs and two service aces.
W&L returns to action at the Emory National Invitational on Saturday when it takes on Birmingham Southern at 12:00 pm.
