winning streak to seven matches with a 3-0 defeat of Hollins on
Saturday afternoon at the Warner Center.
The Generals (21-4) posted their seventh-consecutive sweep
with a 25-11, 25-15, 25-14 shutout of HU (10-12).
Junior outside hitter
Megan Daily (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook)
led W&L with eight kills, senior middle blocker
Louise Brooks
(Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr) added five kills, and junior middle
blocker
Lindsey Dee (Tallahassee, Fla./Maclay School) and sophomore
right side
Bailey Walker (Centennial, Colo./Regis Jesuit) chipped
in four apiece.
Sophomore libero
Cameron Hill (Tampa, Fla./H.B. Plant) had a
team-high 11 digs and senior defensive specialist
Summer Goldberg
(Marietta, Ga./Woodward Academy) added seven digs and a pair of
service aces.
First year setters
Nikki DelZenero (Willowbrook, Ill./Hinsdale
Central) and
Meghan Meleski (Richmond, Va./Mills Godwin) recorded
15 and 11 assists, respectively.
W&L returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts Eastern
Mennonite at 6:30 pm.
