Box Score 2 LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee fell to No. 1 Emory, 3-0,
in the final match of the W&L Volleyball Invitational on
Saturday afternoon.
With the 26-24, 25-13, 25-21 win, the Eagles improved to 8-1 on
the season, while the Generals slipped to 1-3.
Senior outside hitter Rachael Phillips (Tampa, Fla./Tampa Prep)
led W&L with 15 kills, while adding eight digs. First-year
Cameron Hill (Tampa, Fla./H.B. Plant) had 12 digs and senior setter
Megan Steinhardt (Cedar Park, Texas/Cedar Park) chipped in 21
assists.
Steinhardt was named to the All-Tournament team as she totaled 117
assists, 18 digs and 14 kills over four matches.
The Generals return to action on Wednesday when they take on
Randolph-Macon at 7:00 pm.
