LEXINGTON, Va. – First-year forwards Kat Barnes (Charlotte, N.C./Myers Park) and Allie Espina (Gaithersburg, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel) registered one goal and one assist apiece to lift the Washington and Lee women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory over Randolph-Macon on Saturday afternoon at Watt Field.

W&L upped its lead in the second half when Barnes scored off of an assist from sophomore midfielder Taylor Garrett (Birmingham, Ala./Mountain Brook) at 61:49. Espina then found first-year forward Anne Masich (Raleigh, N.C./Needham B Broughton), who found the back of the net in the 76th minute and the Generals cruised to the shutout.

First-year netminder Emily Leary (Loveland, Ohio/Kings) played the duration and did not stop any shots for the Generals, while Jocelyn also played 90:00 minutes and registered 13 saves for the Yellow Jackets (6-4, 2-4).
