GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team defeat Guilford, 3-0, on Wednesday evening to reach the 20-win plateau and now stands at 20-4 overall and 7-0 in the ODAC. Guilford falls to 5-18, 2-5.
With the win, the Generals extend their winning streak to a season-best 10 matches, while also extending their current set winning streak to 29 sets.
Senior Jessica Ulrich (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg) paced W&L with 14 kills while classmate Kassie Bagley (Midlothian, Va./James River) and junior Rachael Phillips (Tampa, Fl./Tampa Prep) added nine apiece. Junior Kelly Harrison (Knoxville, Tenn./Webb School) led the Generals with 14 digs with Phillips contributing 13. Junior Megan Steinhardt (Cedar Park, Texas/Cedar Park) topped the Blue and White with 35 assists and chipped in seven digs.
W&L returns to the court when it travels to Virginia Beach to take part in a tri-vite with Virginia Wesleyan and Catholic on Saturday. The Generals first match of the day is at 11:00 am.
