EMORY, Va. -- Senior midfielder Haley Bunting (Houston, Texas/St. John's) registered one goal and two assists as the Washington and Lee women's soccer team posted a 7-0 victory over Emory & Henry on Saturday afternoon in Emory, Va.

Junior defender Marisa Van Brunt (Sayville, N.Y./Sayville) opened the scoring for W&L with two goals, both off assists from Bunting, to give the Generals a 2-0 lead just 13:38 into the contest. The Blue and White scored three more times in the first half, including a tally from Bunting, to take a 5-0 lead into half time and never looked back as it posted the 7-0 win.

Van Brunt and sophomore midfielder Roz Klann (Denver, Colo./George Washington) each scored a pair of goals, while junior midfielder Katie Kern (Charleston, W.Va./Charleston Catholic) and freshman forward Karen Lambdin (Greenwood, Miss./Pillow Academy) chipped in with one goal apiece.

W&L (7-2, 5-1) outshot E&H, 32-2, and held a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.

Junior Kiki Moreo (Westport, Conn./Staples) and freshman Taylor Joosten (Chicago, Ill./St. Ignatius College Prep) split time between the pipes for W&L, but did not register a save. Megan Smith stopped 15 would-be scores for the Wasps (6-4-1, 1-3).

The Generals return to action on Wednesday when they travel to Guilford for a 4:00 pm contest.
