LEXINGTON, Va. -- Senior midfielder Josh Dodds (Marion, Iowa/Linn-Mar) scored the game-winner to give the Washington and Lee men's soccer team a 1-0 overtime-win over Eastern Mennonite on Saturday afternoon at Watt Field.

After 90 minutes of regulation, Dodds slipped one past EMU goalkeeper Jackson Maust (Bayport, Mich./Laker) off a cross from junior midfielder Tommy Pignatelli (Chatham, N.J./Chatham) in the 94th minute to give W&L the victory.

Senior Ted Sheedy (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel) tallied one save for W&L, while Maust made 10 stops for EMU.

With the win, the Generals improve to 5-1-2 overall and 3-0-1 in the ODAC, while the Royals fall to 2-6-2 overall and 1-2-1 in the conference.

W&L returns to action on Wednesday when they host Division I and cross-town rival VMI at 4:00 pm at Watt Field.
