LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee senior forward Martha Caulkins (Lynchburg, Va./E.C. Glass) tallied a pair of goals and one assist as the Generals notched a 5-0 victory over Bridgewater in ODAC women's soccer action on Wednesday afternoon at Watt Field.

The Generals took a two-goal lead in the first half off goals by junior midfielder Katie Kern (Charleston, W. Va./Charleston Catholic) and Caulkins and then added three goals in the second half, including one more from both Kern and Caulkins to cruise to the 5-0 final.

Kern aided the Generals' scoring effort with a pair of scores, while freshman forward Karen Lambdin (Greenwood, Miss./Pillow Academy) notched one goal and sophomore midfielder Roz Klann (Denver, Colo./George Washington) put up one helper.

Freshman goalkeeper Taylor Joosten (Chicago, Ill./St. Ignatius College Prep) registered her second shutout of the season, making two saves in the win.

Brooke Barham (Fredericksburg, Va./Fredericksburg Christian) played the duration and stopped five would-be goals for BC (3-7, 1-4).

The Generals return to action on Saturday when they travel to Emory, Va., to take on Emory & Henry at 3:00 pm.
