BRIDGEWATER, Va. -- The Washington and Lee women's basketball team dropped its third-straight ODAC road game as it fell at 19th-ranked Bridgewater, 78-56, on Tuesday evening.

The Generals (3-4, 1-3) led 15-14 with 10:25 remaining in the first half, but a three-pointer by Bridgewater's Shannan Scales gave the Eagles a 17-15 lead with 9:23 left and BC would not trail again.

For Nadeau, the total was a career-high scoring effort. Senior center Jessica Hunsinger (Mayer, Ariz./Orme School) added nine points and 10 rebounds.

Bridgewater was paced by Scales, who shot 7-of-8 from beyond the three-point arc in scoring a career-high 25 points. Katy Herr Lovell chipped in 19 points, nine assists and five steals.

Washington and Lee will break for finals and the holiday season before returning to action on Tue., Jan. 2 with a home contest against Virginia Wesleyan. Opening tip is slated for 7:00 pm.
