LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team improved to 12-4 overall with a 30-15, 30-18, 30-21 win over Ferrum on Wednesday evening at the Warner Center.
Junior right side Jess Hudock (Tampa, Fla./Holy Names) paced the Generals with 10 kills, nine digs and four blocks, while sophomore right side Jessica Ulrich (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) tallied 10 kills and five digs. Senior libero Lauren Edmonson (Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge) notched 12 digs and five service aces and freshman setter Megan Steinhardt (Cedar Park, Texas/Cedar Park) registered a team-high 12 assists.
With the loss, Ferrum fell to 10-9 overall.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Friday as it competes in the Averett Invitational in Danville, Va. The Generals take on Greensboro at 5:30 pm and Averett at 7:30 pm.
