LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee women's soccer team extended its unbeaten streak to six games with a 0-0 tie in double overtime against No. 10 Virginia Wesleyan in ODAC women's soccer action on Saturday afternoon at Watt Field.
With the tie, the Generals improved to 4-1-2 overall and 3-0-1 in the ODAC, while the Marlins improved to 7-0-1 overall and 2-0-1 in the ODAC.
Virginia Wesleyan outshot the Generals, 19-6, and held a 7-1 advantage in corner kicks.
W&L freshman goalkeeper Kiki Moreo (Westport, Conn./Staples) made five saves, while sophomore goalkeeper Lindsay Williams (Princeton, N.J./West Windsor-Plainsboro South) stopped five shots for the Marlins.
Washington and Lee returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts Bridgewater at 4:00 pm.
