EMORY, Va. -- The top-seeded Washington and Lee volleyball team advanced to the ODAC Tournament semifinals with a 30-9, 30-11, 30-14 win over eighth-seeded Guilford on Friday morning at Emory & Henry College.

W&L (30-4) was paced by freshman outside hitter Laura Maurer's (Sparta, N.J./Pope John XXIII) seven kills. Freshman outside hitter Alex Scaggs (West Chester, Pa./Unionville) notched six kills, while freshman outside hitter Jessica Ulrich (Gettysburg, Pa./Gettysburg Area) and sophomore outside hitter Jessica Hudock (Tampa, Fla./Holy Names) each recorded five kills. Senior setter Christine Gladysz (Palm Harbor, Fla./Berkeley Prep) amassed 19 assists and four blocks, and junior libero Lauren Edmonson (Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge) added 12 digs.

Washington and Lee will now face fourth-seeded Virginia Wesleyan in a semifinal contest on Saturday at 10:00 am. The championship match is slated to being at 7:00 pm.
