ARLINGTON, Va. -- Junior forward Anne Wiltshire (Richmond, Va./Collegiate) tallied a goal and an assist to help lead the Washington and Lee women's soccer team to a 3-0 victory over Marymount University on Sunday afternoon in Arlington, Va.
Wiltshire gave the Generals (10-1-2) a 1-0 lead just 31 seconds into the game on an unassisted goal. W&L pushed its advantage to 2-0 when Wiltshire fed freshman forward Anne Van Devender (Jackson, Miss./Choate Rosemary Hall), who put her shot into the back of the Saints' net at 41:21.
Sophomore forward Shana Oltmans (Albuquerque, N.M./Valley) capped the scoring at 75:00 with a goal off an assist from junior midfielder Blair Haws (Fort Worth, Texas/Trinity Valley).
W&L outshot Marymount, 22-1, and held a 7-0 advantage in corner kicks.
W&L freshman goalkeeper Kiki Moreo (Westport, Conn./Staples) made one save, while sophomore netminder Beth Dickey stopped nine shots for the Saints (2-13).
Washington and Lee returns to the field on Wednesday when it hosts Lynchburg at 4:00 pm.
