ASHLAND, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's soccer team played its fourth double-overtime game of the season and came away with a 0-0 tie against 17th-ranked Randolph-Macon on Saturday afternoon in Ashland, Va.

The Generals (4-3-1, 2-1-1) fired off 10 of their 13 shots in regulation, but were unable to find the back of the Yellow Jackets' net. Randolph-Macon (8-1-1, 2-1-1) got off 12 shots, but wasn't able to get any past W&L sophomore goalkeeper Ted Sheedy (Pittsburgh, Pa./Fox Chapel).

Both teams had three corner kicks, while the Generals commited 16 fouls to just six for the Yellow Jackets.

Sheedy made a career-high 10 saves, while senior netminder Nick Warner stopped eight shots for Randolph-Macon.

Washington and Lee returns to the field on Wednesday when it hosts cross-town rival Virginia Military Institute at 4:00 pm.
