GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team upped its record to 8-4 overall, 3-0 in the ODAC with a 30-13, 30-11, 30-16 win over Guilford on Tuesday evening.
The Generals were paced by senior outside hitter Emily Wolfing (Mt. Airy, Md./South Carroll), who had 12 kills, nine digs and four aces. Junior middle blocker Susan Gaillard (Charleston, S.C./Porter-Gaud) totaled eight kills and five blocks, while freshman outside hitter Jessica Hudock (Tampa, Fla./Academy of the Holy Names) posted nine kills and three blocks. Junior setter Christine Gladysz (Palm Harbor, Fla./Berkeley Prep) added 28 assists and 14 digs.
With the loss, Guilford fell to 4-10 overall, 2-3 in the ODAC. The Quakers were led by senior outside hitter Mackenzie Parsio, who tallied eight kills.
Washington and Lee will return to action on Thursday as it hosts Southern Virginia for a 6:30 pm match.
