GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team improved to 11-2 overall, 5-0 in the ODAC with a 30-18, 30-19, 30-13 win over Guilford on Tuesday evening.
The Generals were paced by sophomore middle blocker Susan Gaillard (Charleston, S.C./Porter-Gaud), who totaled 12 kills and four service aces. Junior outside hitter Emily Wolfing (Mt. Airy, Md./South Carroll) notched nine kills and seven digs, while sophomore setter Christine Gladysz (Palm Harbor, Fla./Berkeley Prep) amassed 30 assists and seven aces. Junior libero Jennifer Lux (Virginia Beach, Va./Cox) added nine digs.
With the loss, Guilford fell to 1-11 overall, 1-3 in the ODAC.
The Generals return to action on Sunday as they travel to Roanoke College for a 12:00 pm match with the Maroons and a 2:00 pm match with Methodist.
