W&L Women’s Basketball Falls To Shenandoah, 63-35

WINCHESTER, Va. -- Shenandoah University used an 11-0 run to start the game in cruising to a 63-35 win over Washington and Lee in women's basketball on Sunday afternoon in Winchester, Va.

The Hornets hammered the Generals (3-16) on the boards, claiming a 37-25 edge and forced 21 W&L turnovers.
Sophomore forward Emily Barker (Clifton, Va./Mount Vernon) led W&L with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman guard Louisa Feve (Bethesda, Md./Winston Churchill) added nine points.

Shenandoah (10-8) was paced by Jenny Gray's 14 points and six rebounds. Dee Fisher chipped in with 12 points and seven boards.

Washington and Lee returns to action on Tuesday as it hosts Emory & Henry for a 7:00 pm contest.
