W&L Women’s Basketball Defeats RMWC, 63-51

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee women's basketball team used a 14-point lead at halftime to subdue Randolph-Macon Woman's College, 63-51, on Tuesday evening at the Warner Center.

Sophomore guard Louisa Feve (Bethesda, Md./Winston Churchill) recorded a double-double with 13 points and a game-high 12 rebounds, while freshman forward Jessica Hunsinger (Mayer, Ariz./The Orme School) scored a team-high 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds.

Freshman guard Sarah Otey (Williamsburg, Va./Hampton-Roads) and junior forward Emily Barker (Clifton, Va./Mount Vernon) also scored in double digits for the Generals (1-2, 1-0) with 10 and 11 points, respectively.

Randolph-Macon Woman's College (1-2, 0-1) was led by sophomore forward Meghan Stenrud's (Fairfax, Va./Fairfax) game-high 27 points and senior forward Morgan Greene's (Chase City, Va./Bluestone) team-high 10 rebounds.

Washington and Lee returns to action on Monday, Dec. 1, when the Generals travel to Bridgewater for a 7:00 p.m. contest.
