ASHLAND, Va. -- Senior forward Fontaine Marcoux (Washington, D.C./Potomac) tallied a goal and assisted on another to lead the 14th-ranked Washington and Lee women's soccer team to a 3-0 win over Randolph-Macon on Wednesday afternoon.

Marcoux set up the first goal of the game as she found freshman midfielder Maggie Megear (Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y./Cold Spring Harbor) who scored at the 5:32 mark. Marcoux then found the net herself off an assist by freshman forward Rebecca Cohn (Virginia Beach, Va./Norfolk Academy) on a corner kick at the 10:54 mark.

Sophomore midfielder Kerry Giblin (Ho-Ho-Kus, N.J./Northern Highlands Regional) capped the scoring as she tallied unassisted at the 36:47 mark.

Junior Emily Barker (Clifton, Va./Mount Vernon) played all 90 minutes in goal for the Generals (9-0-1, 6-0), recording one save. Liz Lombardo saw all 90 minutes in goal for the Yellow Jackets (3-6, 0-4), making nine saves.

Washington and Lee returns to action on Saturday as it hosts Sweet Briar for a 3:00 pm contest.
