LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team upped its record to 10-1 overall, 3-0 in the ODAC with a 30-19, 30-18, 25-30, 30-15 win over Eastern Mennonite on Saturday afternoon in Harrisonburg, Va.
The Generals were led by freshman middle blocker Susan Gaillard (Charleston, S.C./Porter-Gaud), who recorded 14 kills and three blocks. Sophomore outside hitter Michelle Chastain (Phoenix, Ariz./Xavier Prep) notched 10 kills, eight digs and six aces, while sophomore setter Jennifer Lux (Virginia Beach, Va./Cox) added 32 assists, eight digs and six aces.
The loss dropped Eastern Mennonite to 4-10 overall, 1-2 in the ODAC.
Washington and Lee will be back in action on Sunday as it travels to Randolph-Macon for a 1:00 pm contest. The Generals will then face Virginia Wesleyan at RMC at 3:15 pm.
