LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team improved to 14-4 overall, 5-0 in the ODAC with a win over Sweet Briar on Monday evening at the Warner Center, 30-20, 30-14, 30-26.

Sophomore outside hitter Emily Wolfing (Mt. Airy, Md./South Carroll) paced the Generals with 11 kills, while sophomore outside hitter Michelle Chastain (Phoenix, Ariz./Xavier Prep) tallied seven kills, five digs and five aces. Freshman middle blocker Susan Gaillard (Charleston, S.C./Porter-Gaud) added seven kills and three blocks. Sophomore setter Jennifer Lux (Virginia Beach, Va./Cox) collected 28 assists.

Sweet Briar fell to 6-8 overall and 1-3 in the ODAC with the loss.

W&L returns to action on Saturday at the Goucher Tournament in Towson, Md., with a 9:00 am match against Chowan and an 11:00 am contest against Marymount.
