GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Senior middle blocker Lindsay Ruckert (Metairie, La./Sacred Heart) totaled 15 kills as Washington and Lee defeated Guilford, 30-20, 30-20, 30-20 in ODAC volleyball action on Tuesday evening.

Ruckert's 15 kills give her 1,224 for her career, breaking the ODAC career kills record (1,221) held by former teammate Nancy Reinhart '00.

The win upped the Generals record to 11-1 overall, tying the 1996 team for the best start in school history. W&L's ODAC record currently stands at 3-0.

Senior middle blocker Leslie Fischbeck (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) recorded seven kills and four blocks, while freshman setter Jennifer Lux (Virginia Beach, Va./Cox) added 33 assists and 17 digs.

The loss dropped Guilford to 2-13 overall, 0-5 in the ODAC.

Washington and Lee will be in action again on Friday afternoon as it competes in the Emory University Tournament. The Generals will take on Milligan at 2:00 pm and host Emory at 7:00 pm.
