LEXINGTON, Va. -- Senior middle blocker Lindsay Ruckert (Metairie, La./Sacred Heart) totaled 14 kills, six digs and three blocks to lead Washington and Lee past Randolph-Macon Woman's College, 30-19, 30-15, 30-18, in ODAC Volleyball action on Tuesday evening.
Ruckert also served one ace to break the W&L career service ace record set by Leslie Hess '92. Ruckert's total now stands at 159 aces.
Senior middle blocker Leslie Fischbeck (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) recorded nine kills and five blocks, while senior outside hitter Sara Heusel (Ann Arbor, Mich./Novi) notched seven kills and five digs.
Freshman setter Jennifer Lux (Virginia Beach, Va./Cox) amassed a team-high 25 assists. Senior setter Lizzy Swann (Merritt Island, Fla./Choate Rosemary Hall) added seven assists, four digs and two aces.
The loss dropped RMWC to 4-10, 0-4 in the ODAC.
Washington and Lee (14-3, 4-0) will return to action on Saturday as it hosts Eastern Mennonite for an 11:00 am match.
