LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee won its fourth match in a row on Tuesday evening, defeating ODAC foe Guilford College, 15-10, 15-2, 15-9, at the Warner Center.

The Generals (7-2, 3-1) were led by senior outside hitter Tori Hays (Littleton, Colo./Arapahoe), who totaled six kills and nine digs. Sophomore outside hitter Stacey Kimmel (San Antonio, Texas/Alamo Heights) notched four kills and a team-high 10 digs, while junior middle blocker Lindsay Ruckert (Metairie, La./Sacred Heart) tallied a team-best six aces.

Junior middle blocker Leslie Fischbeck (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) was tops on the team in kills (7) and was set up by senior Katherine Kline (Potomac, Md./Holton-Arms), who amassed 11 assists.

Guilford dropped to 3-10, 1-3 in the ODAC.

Washington and Lee will be in action again on Friday and Saturday as it participates in the Emory University Invitational. The Generals will face Greensboro (2:00 pm) and 3rd-ranked Emory (7:00 pm) on Friday, then Averett (11:30 am) and Millsaps (4:30 pm) on Saturday.
