LYNCHBURG, Va. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team had a 23-match regular-season win streak against ODAC opponents snapped by Lynchburg College, 15-7, 15-12, 15-4, on Wednesday evening in Lynchburg, Va.

Washington and Lee (3-2, 0-1) was led by junior middle blocker Lindsay Ruckert (Metairie, La./Sacred Heart), who tallied eight kills and three blocks. Senior setter Pam Saulsbury (Ridgely, Md./North Caroline) recorded a team-high 13 assists.

With the win, Lynchburg moves to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in the ODAC.

The Generals will be in action again on Tuesday when they travel to Emory, Va., to take on the Emory & Henry Wasps.
