LEXINGTON, Va. -- Freshman forward Heather Coleman (Blackwood, N.J./Triton Regional) scored two goals and freshman forward Fontaine Marcoux (Washington, D.C./Potomac School) added one goal and an assist to lead third seeded Washington and Lee to a 4-1 win over seventh seeded Randolph-Macon in the ODAC Women's Soccer Tournament Semifinals on Friday afternoon.
Randolph-Macon (11-9) got on the board first as sophomore Allison Picarde scored an unassisted goal at the 26:13 mark.
The Generals (12-5) answered at the 31:41 mark as Coleman scored off an assist by senior midfielder Liz Olson (Brookfield, Conn./Loomis-Chaffee). The Generals added the game-winner 6:44 later as junior midfielder Drew Powers (Atlanta, Ga./Lovett School) scored off a feed from senior back Shana Levine (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson).
Marcoux upped the W&L lead to 3-1 with an unassisted goal at the 57:37 mark and assisted on Coleman's second goal with 64:53 gone-by.
Senior Lauren Harris notched two saves in goal for the Generals.
Washington and Lee will play tournament host and No. 1 seed Lynchburg on Saturday at 1:00 pm in the finals.
