HARRISONBURG, Va.. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team outlasted Eastern Mennonite for a 3-2 win on Tuesday evening in Harrisonburg. The Generals prevailed 15-12, 15-12, 11-15, 17-19, 15-13 to up their record to 11-5 overall, 6-1 in the ODAC. Eastern Mennonite fell to 8-8 overall, 4-3 in the ODAC.

W&L was led by freshman outside hitter Kristin Shelton (Austin, Texas/McCallum), who totaled 10 kills. Junior middle blocker Lindsay Ruckert (Metairie, La./Sacred Heart) tallied eight kills and four blocks, while senior outside hitter Tori Hays (Littleton, Colo./Arapahoe) notched a team-high 19 digs. Senior setter Pam Saulsbury (Ridgely, Md./North Caroline) amassed a team-high 26 assists and 17 digs.

Washington and Lee will be in action again on Saturday as participates in the Goucher Invitational.
