LEXINGTON, Va. - Washington and Lee's wrestling team competed in its first dual meets of the year, hosting the W&L Quadrangular meet in Doremus Gymnasium. The Generals won two of their three matches, defeating Gettysburg College 23-18 and Pensacola Christian 23-21, while losing to Davidson College 24-18.

W&L had three wrestlers go 3-0 on the day. Chad Casto, Ivan Zdanov, and John Sensing led the Generals with three wins apiece. Josh Chamberlain and Ezra Morse each won two matches, while John Polena earned one victory. The win over Gettysburg propels the Generals to their first Centennial Conference victory of the season.
