LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team continued its dominance over ODAC competition by defeating Randolph-Macon Woman's College, 15-11, 15-1, 16-14, in Lexington on Tuesday evening.
The Generals were led by senior outside hitter Nancy Reinhart (Louisville, Ky./Sacred Heart), who totaled 11 kills and seven digs. Reinhart is now just 26 digs shy of the ODAC record for career digs. Sophomore middle blocker Lindsay Ruckert (Metairie, La./Sacred Heart) tallied nine kills and fellow classmate Lee Charbonnet (New Orleans, La./Benjamin Franklin) notched six kills and eight digs. Junior Katherine Kline (Potomac, Md./Holton-Arms) led the Generals' setters with 15 assists.
The win upped W&L's record to 10-2 overall, 4-0 in the ODAC. With the loss Randolph-Macon Woman's College falls to 4-8 overall, 0-2 in the ODAC.
W&L will look to win its 18th consecutive ODAC match when it takes on Emory & Henry Thursday at 6:30 pm in Emory, Va.
