LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team defeated Hollins, 15-7, 15-5, 15-8, in ODAC volleyball action on Friday evening in Roanoke, Va.

The Generals (5-1, 2-0) were led by sophomore middle blocker Lindsay Ruckert (Metairie, La./Sacred Heart), who totaled 14 kills, 14 digs, and three aces. Junior setter Katherine Kline (Potomac, Md./Holton-Arms) amassed a team-high 16 assists, while sophomore setter Lizzy Swann (Merritt Island, Fla./Choate Rosemary Hall) tallied 14 assists.

W&L will return to action on Wednesday, when it travels to Bridgewater for a 6:30 pm match.
