W&L Volleyball Defeats Randolph-Macon, 3-0

LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee volleyball team ended its regular-season with a 15-0, 15-12, 15-9 win over Randolph-Macon on Saturday afternoon in Lexington.

The Generals, 19-6 overall and 10-0 in the ODAC, were led by sophomore middle blocker Lindsay Ruckert (Metairie, La./Sacred Heart), who totaled 12 kills and three blocks. Senior outside hitter Nancy Reinhart (Louisville, Ky./Sacred Heart) tallied nine kills and 15 digs, while sophomore outside hitter Lee Charbonnet (New Orleans, La./Benjamin Franklin) amassed eight kills, five aces, and five digs.

Junior setter Katherine Kline (Potomac, Md./Holton-Arms) notched a team-high 18 assists for the Generals, who have now won 23 consecutive regular season ODAC matches.

Randolph-Macon fell to 7-11 overall and 4-6 in the ODAC.

The Generals next action will be in the ODAC Tournament held November 5-6 at Hollins University. W&L will be No. 1 seed for the tournament.
