Junior Marcus Canton (Football - Defensive Player of the Week) - Junior cornerback Marcus Canton was named the first ODAC Defensive Player of the Week of the 2026 season after a standout performance in the Generals' 13-7 overtime win over Wittenberg University on Saturday afternoon. Canton recorded a career-high 12 tackles including five solo stops with one tackle for loss while also forcing a fumble inside the Generals' red zone to eliminate a scoring chance for the Tigers. Canton and the defense forced three turnovers (two fumbles and an interception) and four punts while holding the Wittenberg offense to seven points.
