Men's Swim Tested by VMI Ahead of ODAC Championships

LEXINGTON, Va. —The Washington and Lee University men's swimming team closed its dual-meet schedule with a 182–80 loss to Virginia Military Institute on Friday evening at the W&L Natatorium. Facing a deep VMI squad, the Generals picked up one event victory while using the meet as a final tune-up before postseason competition.

W&L opened the meet with its lone win of the day in the 200-yard medley relay before VMI controlled the remaining events to secure the team victory.


Up Next: Washington and Lee turns its attention to the ODAC Championships, which begin on Wednesday, Feb. 11, with the 800-yard freestyle relay finals at 7:30 p.m. at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, N.C. Championship competition continues Thursday through Saturday (Feb. 12–14) with preliminary heats at 10 a.m. and finals at 6 p.m. each day.
