Women's Swimming Wins 10 Events to Power Past the Knights

LEXINGTON, Va. —The Washington and Lee University women's swimming team earned a 173–78 victory over Southern Virginia University on Friday evening at the W&L Natatorium.

The Generals captured 10 of 14 events to improve to 4–1 in dual meet action.

Led by Morgan Smith, Virginia Lathrop, Amelia Macholz, and Tenra Adams, who each claimed multiple wins, the Generals opened and closed the meet with relay victories. Both the 200 medley and 200 freestyle squads finished first, second, and third overall and added six runner-up finishes to the night's scoring.


Up Next: Washington and Lee returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 8, competing in the Chicago Shoot Out hosted by the University of Chicago. Action begins at 11:30 a.m. CT.
