This Weekend in W&L Athletics - November 15-16

LEXINGTON, Va. — The Generals are set for a busy postseason weekend with NCAA competition across several sports, along with regular-season and invitational action on Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday opens with men's cross country racing at 10 a.m. at the NCAA South Region Championships, followed by the women's cross country team at 11 a.m. Members of the wrestling program will compete throughout the day, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Marymount and continuing at 2:30 p.m. vs Messiah at the Marymount Duals.

Women's soccer opens NCAA Tournament play at 11 a.m. against Marymount, while football closes its regular season at Shenandoah with a 1 p.m. kickoff. Volleyball also begins the ODAC Championship match at 2 p.m. against Bridgewater.

Men's soccer takes on Denison at 3:30 p.m. in the first round NCAA Tournament play at Dickinson College. Men's basketball follows with a 4 p.m. contest against St. Joseph's (Brooklyn) at the Messiah Tip Off Tournament before women's basketball caps Saturday's competition vs Washington (Md.) at 7 p.m. at the Virginia Wesleyan tournament.

Sunday features continued postseason play, as members of the wrestling team compete at the Shenandoah Invite beginning at 10 a.m. Lexington will play host to the NCAA Second Round for women's soccer with a 1 p.m. match, followed by men's soccer in the NCAA Second Round at 3 p.m. at Dickinson.

Women's basketball also concludes the Women Leaders Tip-Off Tournament with the consolation and championship games at either 1 or 3 p.m.

How to Watch

Streaming: Beginning in 2025-26, the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's five-year media rights agreement with FloSports ensures that all ODAC and W&L home contests will stream live on FloCollege with a subscription. Games will also be available on demand immediately after their conclusion.

For those unable to watch live or who do not wish to subscribe, free replays will be available at Generalssports.com/live beginning two days after each game. (Example: a Saturday contest will be available starting at midnight on Monday morning.)

Admission: Regular-season home games are free. ODAC semifinal and championship games, as well as NCAA postseason contests, will require paid admission regardless of host institution. Please check the opponent websites for information about ticketing, parking and other costs associated with the contest for all away games and contests not at W&L.
