W&L Athletics Seizes 20th Straight ODAC Commissioner's Cup

FOREST, Va. – The Old Dominion Athletic Conference announced on Wednesday that Washington and Lee University has seized the Dan Wooldridge Overall Sports Champion Cup for the 20th consecutive year.
 
The Generals claimed all three of the cups, taking the overall and the men's and women's cups.  W&L won the women's cup for the 19th straight year and took the men's cup for the seventh straight year, marking seven consecutive years the Blue & White has received all three of the cups.

W&L accumulated 227.0 of a possible 245.0 points for a .927 overall rating, out-pacing Lynchburg, which tallied 202.5 of a possible 248.0 points for an .817 rating. 
 
Randolph-Macon was third (.740) and was followed by Roanoke (.685), Shenandoah (.590), Bridgewater (.578), Virginia Wesleyan (.512), Eastern Mennonite (.438), Randolph (.324), Guilford (.296) and Ferrum (.246).
 
In the women's standings, W&L amassed a .941 rating and Lynchburg was second with an .825 rating.  In the men's competition, the Generals registered a .911 rating to rank ahead of Lynchburg's .806 rating.
 
Washington and Lee claimed 11 conference championships during the 2021-22 school year.  To date, the Generals have compiled a 217-75-4 (.740) overall record.
